Job summary

LS Cable & System U S A Inc in Tarboro, NC is seeking a Jacket Line Helper to support the Operator on a heavy manufacturing line, assisting with loading reels, monitoring quality, and keeping the area safe and organized.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and prior manufacturing exposure; ability to lift 150+ pounds; willingness to work overtime as needed; SAP training provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow verbal or written instructions and perform basic math.
• Must be able to operate in a heavy industrial environment and maintain safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare, load, unload, and store process reels.
• Retrieve raw materials and assist in loading them as the process requires.
• Assist in disposition of non-conforming products.
• Observe material and insulated wire while line is running and alert the Operator if line is out of tolerance.
• Assist Operator in setting up line for product changeovers and after wire breaks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean work area (general housekeeping).
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
