J1 Maintenance Mechanic - Millwright, Welder, OR Pipefitter

Description:

Position Title: J1 Maintenance Mechanic – Millwright, Welder, OR Pipefitter

Pay Rate: $35.62/hr. to $42.74/hr. ($0.68 to $1.66/hr. shift allowance)

_Factors such as experience, skills, and abilities influence the final placement within the pay range._

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 for new hires.

Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000 for those relocating more than 75 miles to Port Wentworth Mill.

Location: International Paper – Port Wentworth Mill, 1 Bonnybridge Rd, Port Wentworth, GA 31407

The Job You Will Perform:

• Routine maintenance work
• Replacing valves & gaskets
• Basic welding, pump & valve repacking
• Forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations
• Cylinder, pump, and motor repairs and replacements
• Repair of rotating assemblies and mechanical drive systems

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Eligible to work in the US
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• At least 5 years of Heavy Industrial Maintenance Experience in Millwright, Welding, or Pipefitting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in related maintenance disciplines
• Relevant industrial work experience
• Strong math and physics skills
• Millwright background
• SAP experience
