Job description

The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors, and Self-Directed - our digital investing platform. The combined business manages approximately $600 billion in Assets Under Management and has around 5,000 advisors across 3,500 branches and 20 offices.

As a Vice President, Investment Product Specialist in J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will present on capital markets and investment solutions, collaborating with field leadership to implement the U.S. Wealth Management strategy. Your role will be crucial in advisor development, enhancing client satisfaction, and building deep, value-added relationships. This position offers an opportunity to demonstrate your passion for capital markets and wealth management, supporting our advisors and clients. You will focus on strengthening client satisfaction, deepening value-add relationships, and maintaining transparency in clients' investment roadmaps.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Become a Subject Matter Expert on the firm's investment themes, platforms, products, and strategies.
  2. Communicate the JP Morgan Wealth Management view and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  3. Cover a territory of 2 to 3 regions remotely and in person (approximately 300-400 advisors) in the Northwest.
  4. Create and coordinate workshops for advisor development.
  5. Serve as a speaker for group meetings and Zoom office hours.
  6. Schedule and conduct approximately 10 to 15 one-on-one advisor meetings weekly to support new business opportunities.
  7. Attend client meetings as an investment solutions expert.
  8. Partner with colleagues across disciplines for joint presentations.
  9. Demonstrate value in achieving divisional goals.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Deep understanding of investment products (advisory, annuities, insurance, brokerage markets).
  • Series 7, Series 66, and Insurance licenses required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience.
  • Proficient in presenting and storytelling to effectively present solutions.
  • Experience in wholesaling and territory management, with strong communication skills in group settings.
  • Comfortable with overnight travel.
  • Ability to collaborate and deliver cohesive messaging.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Independent initiative with flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Ability to interpret complex portfolio data and communicate simply.
