Job summary

FabCorp in Houston, TX is seeking a Robot Operator to weld materials with FCAW and GMAW, supporting production in a full-time, non-exempt role. You will load/unload parts from jigs for the production robot and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.

You will also operate a forklift, use tape measures and calipers, and record operations with barcode/computer tools while maintaining a safe, clean workspace and adhering to attendance requirements.

Qualifications

• Loads and unloads parts in jigs for production robot.
• Print Knowledgeable
• Handy with welder tools, grinder, tape measure, caliper etc.
• Performs general daily maintenance task checking welding equipment
• Upkeep and clean work area as needed
• Follow Company safety & security guidelines
• Attendance & Punctuality are essential functions of this job
• Other duties as needed
• Previous experience with power tools and barcode systems is valuable
• Shop math and blueprint reading are beneficial

Summary

Welds materials using a variety of processes – primarily FCAW and GMAW.

Required Competencies

• Loads and unloads parts in jigs for production robot.
• Print Knowledgeable
