Job summary

Thales is seeking an experienced IVVQM / Senior Project Validation Lead in Austin, TX for a hybrid onsite role. You will drive validation, verification, testing, and quality activities for complex Identity and Biometric solutions.

Work with customers and cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Software Engineers, Infrastructure, Product Management, and Operations, to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8-10+ years of experience working on complex software/technology solutions.
• 3+ years of project leadership experience managing validation projects or work packages.
• Strong experience with IVVQ methodologies and testing processes.
• Experience with Web/Mobile technologies, application servers, and web services.
• Strong experience with API testing using SOAP/REST.
• Experience with SQL and database testing.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, and LDAP.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and application security.
• Experience with test automation and AI-enabled testing technologies.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, troubleshooting, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) activities for complex projects.
• Develop and execute validation strategies, test plans, test cases, and quality assurance plans.
• Lead Functional, Integration, Performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage test execution, defects, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Work directly with customers throughout project implementation, testing, acceptance, and issue escalation.
• Partner with Project Managers and technical teams to ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards.
• Review technical specifications, designs, and test scripts.
• Support test automation and regression testing.
• Monitor project risks, test coverage, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support production deployments and provide Level 3 technical support when needed.

Pay Rate: $67/hr. W2 + Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits
Location: Austin, TX 78759 - Must live locally
Schedule: Hybrid - Monday, Wednesday & Thursday onsite (No Remote Option)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Some flexibility)
Contract: 6+ months with potential for extension or conversion to FTE
Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid passport

About the Role
