The Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated IVRS Data Liaison to serve as the primary technical advisor for the Illinois Vital Records System (IVRS). You will identify data issues, generate IVRS reports, and train users across agencies, ensuring accurate birth, death, and fetal death data collection.

Under direction, performs complex technical research and advisory functions relative to the development, collection, analysis, evaluation, revision and installation of new and improved standards, methods, and procedures for IVRS and the data collected. This position will Identify reporting and data issues and prepares methods to improve the issue; creates and generates reports in IVRS; confers with and provides information and data collection training to IVRS users; and serves as liaison with entities that provide birth, death and fetal death data to IVRS.
