Job summary

Graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program with ARRT/RCVT/RCIS certification and an Arkansas radiologic license is required, along with five years of Cath Lab/IVR experience and active on-call duties.

• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have five years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Radiologic Technologist and actively taking call.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent radiology coverage in IVR/Cath Lab during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices.
• Accurately document procedure data and communicate with team and patients.

Summary

The IVR Cath Lab Tech is a skilled Radiology Technologist with essential Interventional Radiology (IVR) and/or Cath Lab training. This role requires independent function during cases, utilizing proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording. Effective communication is essential with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and all hospital employees.

• Graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program.
• ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS.
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have five years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Radiologic Technologist and actively taking call.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
