Job summary

Baptist Health in Little Rock is seeking an IVR Cath Lab Tech III to join the Interventional Radiology team. Eligible candidates hold ARRT or RCVT/RCIS credentials, Arkansas radiologic licensure, CPR certification, and at least five years of Cath Lab/IVR experience with active on-call duties

• ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS.
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or limited scope license.
• CPR certification.
• Five years Cath Lab/IVR experience with active call.

Responsibilities

• Perform IVR or Cath Lab procedures with independent function.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Accurately record procedure data.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Assist in equipment setup and post-procedure care.

Summary

The IVR Cath Lab Tech is a skilled Radiology Technologist with essential Interventional Radiology (IVR) and/or Cath Lab training. This role requires independent function during cases, utilizing proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording. Effective communication is essential with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and all hospital employees.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program.
• ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS.
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have five years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Radiologic Technologist and actively taking call.

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
