Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in a relevant field; master's preferred.
• Foundational understanding of cell biology, reproductive physiology, embryology, or lab research.
• Hands-on lab experience from coursework, undergraduate research, employment, or graduate study.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and measure carefully.
• Experience with aseptic technique, microscopy, cell culture, or embryo handling preferred.
• Basic knowledge of experimental design and data interpretation.
• Experience using spreadsheet or scientific software for data entry/analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous laboratory documentation.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a defined component of an active IVF research project.
• Plan and execute controlled lab experiments under approved protocols.
• Troubleshoot and compare treatments, protocols, reagents, or conditions.
• Participate in meetings and communicate progress and risks.
• Perform project-specific lab activities: media prep, sample handling, aseptic technique.
• Follow safety, quality, biosecurity, confidentiality, and data integrity requirements.
• Collect, organize, QA, and maintain experimental data and records.
• Apply basic statistics to summarize results and identify patterns.
• Document methods and results for reproducibility.
• Review literature and summarize information to support hypotheses.
• Prepare final technical report and presentation.
• Deliverables include reproducible genetic-evaluation workflow and completed project workstream.
