Job summary

InVia Fertility Specialists in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking an Embryologist to join our IVF team. You will perform oocyte retrieval assistance, embryo assessment, and lab procedures in a state-of-the-art IVF laboratory, under strict protocols to support patient care.

The successful candidate will hold a Biological Sciences degree with ABB certification or higher, with a strong eye for detail and precision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Biological Sciences.
• ABB Technical Supervisor certification.
• Strong manual dexterity and precision.
• Experience in a clinical lab environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a regulated IVF lab.

Responsibilities

• Identify and retrieve oocytes from follicular fluid using a dissecting microscope.
• Load embryos into a catheter to assist during embryo transfer.
• Conduct daily embryo assessments using an inverted microscope and laser zona ablation.
• Execute freezing/thawing protocols and maintain culture dishes with sterile technique.
• Stock supplies, perform QC, and monitor lab equipment.
• Work under microscopes in the IVF lab and handle liquid nitrogen.
