Job summary

UChicago Medicine seeks an Embryologist to support the REI team at the South Loop onsite lab. You will handle core ART procedures, maintain culture conditions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a biology-related bachelor's (master's preferred) and 2–5 years of hands-on embryology experience, with proficiency in ICSI and biopsy. Onsite schedule with coverage during patient cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field; master's preferred.
• 2–5 years hands-on clinical embryology experience.
• Proficient in ICSI and embryo biopsy techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine embryology services including oocyte handling, IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, and cryopreservation.
• Manage andrology services: semen analysis and sperm cryopreservation.
• Maintain lab equipment and culture systems with daily QC.
• Document procedures meticulously and participate in protocol development and improvements.
