Job summary

NYU Langone Health's NYU Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for a Staff Andrologist (FGP) - OB/GYN, IVF. The role requires a Clinical Lab Technician license and involves performing clinical and research duties in the Andrology laboratory with patient interaction.

Under supervision, you will handle semen processing, cryopreservation, and IVF-related specimen preparation, while ensuring quality control and accurate data entry in Access databases.

Qualifications

• Associates or BS in biological science with 1 year in a clinical laboratory setting performing basic andrology techniques.
• Familiarity with Excel and Access and clinical medical record systems.
• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing according to WHO protocol and prepares patient documentation.
• Prepares semen for intrauterine transfer and cryopreserves semen for storage.
• Performs quality control, monitors equipment and reagents, and follows safety procedures.
• Enter data into Access databases and generate reports.
• Coordinate activities with senior lab personnel and embryology team.
