Job summary

NYU Langone Health's NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks an Embryologist II (FGP) for OB/GYN, IVF. The role performs basic clinical lab techniques independently under supervision and assists senior staff with advanced ART duties, with holiday/weekend rotations and team-focused workflow.

Minimum 1+ year embryology lab experience with IVF, Bachelor's degree in a lab science, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology, clinical or reproductive laboratory science.
• 1+ year experience in a clinical lab performing basic embryology techniques, with IVF exposure.
• Excellent written/spoken communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Study SOPs and maintain quality/safety procedures for embryology services.
• Perform basic ART procedures and quality control under supervision.
• Maintain records, enter data, and communicate results to patients and staff.
• Participate in advanced ART procedures under supervision as needed.
