Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking an IV&V Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support advanced defense programs. You will analyze system-level qualification tests, perform deep code analysis, and drive automated verification integrations across emulation environments.

A strong DoD/IV&V background and active security clearance are required. Responsibilities include refining test artifacts, leading CI/CD improvements, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active DoD secret clearance.
• Bachelor's or higher in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of software design/engineering experience in DoD/Army environments.
• Experience in IV&V within weapon systems or DoD domains.
• Proficient with static and dynamic code analysis tools.
• Strong GitLab/DevSecOps experience and agile lifecycles.
• Familiarity with modern defense architectures.
• Willing/able to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Review FQT for IFPC; document defects and track requirements.
• Perform static and dynamic code analysis on executables.
• Architect automated verification solutions; integrate into IVP and test environments.
• Maintain and optimize DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.
