Job summary

SAIC seeks a QA Analyst to perform end-to-end IV&V across legacy IBM mainframe and Linux-based platforms, ensuring changes are tested, validated, and documented for IRS enforcement revenue data.

The role conducts testing for January releases, validates data transformations, and monitors post-production results, collaborating with developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 5 years of overall experience (4 years in lieu of degree)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship or Green Card.
• Experience with SQL and SAP Data Services ETL scripts.
• Experience running data extracts in DB2 and familiarity with data transformation.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV&V of all programming modifications across IBM mainframe and Linux environments.
• Plan, execute, and document testing for January software release and other modifications.
• Test transitions from mainframe to Linux/SAP Data Services environment and verify deployment.
• Develop and execute system test plans, test cases, and data validation scripts.
• Document defects and test results, tracking through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, DBAs, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
