Overview
Bowhead seeks an IV&V Analyst to conduct studies, prepare reports, and advise on system effectiveness for the custom at NSWECDD in Dahlgren, VA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive software review, analysis, and testing to confirm that requirements are correctly defined and that the system implements the required functionality and security requirements.
- Weapon system testing, including system and software analysis.
- Attempt to find vulnerabilities and “break” the software to confirm effectiveness and usability.
- Inspect testing software, systems, or processes to ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and user expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree required.
- Five plus (5+) years of systems testing within a weapon systems environment.
- IV&V experience is required.
- Experience with Ada, fire control systems, and weapons systems is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts, and must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
Security Clearance Requirements
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
