Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work in the IV Therapy department. The LVN provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, following standards of care and hospital policies. You will collaborate with the health care team, document accurately, and maintain safety.

Qualified candidates have at least six months of acute care experience, a California LVN license, and BLS. I.V.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months acute care and/or related outpatient experience within past four years.
• Minimum one year acute care experience within past four years if working in a Home Health/Hospice Department.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Collaborates with physician and/or Registered Nurse to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
• Documents care legibly with date and time.
• Adheres to safety standards and standard precautions.
