Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician/APP in our California facilities. Qualifications

• LVN direct patient care experience in the last 3 years.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (California) with current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of an RN or physician/APP.
• Transcribe physician/APP orders per policy.
• Assist in developing and implementing the nursing care plan.
• Administer medications per orders and standing orders within scope.
• Assist with examinations and treatments and prepare supplies as directed.
• Document care in Health Connect and monitor patient status.
• Support discharge planning and patient education as needed.
