Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an IV Technician to support patient care across ambulatory and inpatient settings. You will perform IV placement, troubleshooting, and site care under RN supervision.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of healthcare or customer service experience. Training includes Basic Life Support; work shifts are 8-hour with days/evenings, 40–64 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year health care (PCA, Phlebotomy, Donor Services) or customer service experience is preferred.
• Maintains Basic Life Support certification or will receive during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV insertion, troubleshooting, and site care.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Handle delegated tasks in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
