Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of health care (PCA, Phlebotomy, Donor Services) or customer service experience.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from AHA or Red Cross; certification included if not already held.

Responsibilities

• IV placement, troubleshooting, and site care.
• Perform delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Perform IV insertion in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
