Job summary

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in the San Antonio TX area. This role supports pharmacists in preparing and dispensing sterile medications in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule options include 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Requires Texas Tech license, PTCB, IV sterile compounding certification, and at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
PTCB Certification.
IV Sterile Compounding Certification.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing sterile medications in accordance with company policies, state regulations, and USP standards.
Accurately compound sterile medications, perform pharmaceutical calculations to ensure proper dosing, and properly label and package finished prescriptions.
Maintain a clean and compliant work environment by sanitizing pharmacy work surfaces and laminar flow hoods, documenting temperature logs and cleaning records, inspecting pharmacy equipment, and reporting any equipment issues.
Participate in identifying, documenting, and reporting medication-related incidents while supporting overall pharmacy organization and regulatory compliance.
