Job summary

Eastside Medical Center seeks a Pharmacy Technician to prepare IV admixtures, unit-dose syringes, and chemotherapy meds for critical care and OR areas. You will ensure accuracy, follow SOPs, and maintain stock levels while coordinating with pharmacy and technical staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred, and active registration with the state Board of Pharmacy; PTCB certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Work Experience: Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Licenses: PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician; current state Board registration upon hire; PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admixtures of medications to IV solutions and preparation of unit-dose syringes and chemotherapy medications.
• Compounding of solutions/medications used in critical care and OR satellite areas.
• Maintain adequate stock levels in assigned areas and follow procedures and regulations.
