Job summary

Remedi SeniorCare is hiring an IV Pharmacy Technician for our onsite Closed Door Pharmacy in Troy, OH. The role supports pharmacists in sterile compounding, IV admixtures, and IV pump programming. Strong attention to sterile technique and documentation is required.

The position offers a schedule of Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision, PTO, 401k, telemedicine, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current National/State Pharmacy Certification preferred.
• Computer knowledge, medical terminology, math and analytical skills.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Fill IV orders including mixing IV medications and applying sterile techniques.
• Send supplies and equipment to facilities.
• Maintain IV mixing records.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Program infusion pumps and enter IV orders into the system.
• Order supplies from vendors and manage inventory.
• Assist with safety, policy compliance and reporting.

Join our team as anIV Pharmacy Technician, ensuring seamless medication delivery to long term care facilities. OurIV Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing sterile admixtures and compounding IV solutions while following 797 USP Standards. OurIV Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in maintaining cleanroom standards, managing inventory and handling documentation.

Location:Onsite at our Closed Door Pharmacy: 962 S Dorset Rd, Troy, OH 45373

Compensation: $18.00 + per hour (Depending on Experience and Licensing)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• The ability to adhere to Remedi's Code of Conduct, follow Remedi Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
• Filling IV orders to include, but not limited to, mixing IV medications, mathematically calculating doses, applying all sterile techniques as applicable to the job
• Sending supplies and equipment to facilities
• Maintaining all IV mixing records.
• Performing regular cleaning and maintenance check on all equipment
• Programming of all infusion pumps
• Data entry of all applicable I.V. orders
• Responsible for the ordering of supplies from various vendors
• Perform other tasks as required
• Perform technician assignments as requested by the pharmacy management
• Maintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental log
• Actively contributes to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and procedures
• Assists with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered.
• Participates in special projects to identify and implement operational improvements
• Ability to work with others in a positive productive manner anticipates and responds to the position's areas of responsibilities

Qualifications
