Job Details

• Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (14700 Helm Ct, Plymouth, MI 48170)
• Salary: $23/hour
• Schedule: 2nd shift: 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM to 12:00 AM - 8:30 PM, Monday - Friday, rotating holidays and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the IV Manager with daily operations of the Infusion department, adhering to quality and safety standards
• Prepare IV medications, including mixing and calculating doses, using sterile techniques
• Maintain IV mixing records and equipment
• Program infusion pumps and perform data entry of IV orders
• Order supplies and perform equipment maintenance
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure safety policies are followed
• Perform other tasks as required and support pharmacy management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the State Board of Pharmacy

Skills & Abilities

• IV experience
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology and drugs
• Mathematical and analytical skills, especially calculations
• Preferred: 2+ years in long-term care pharmacy
