Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license issued by Louisiana Pharmacy Board is required.

• Industry certification appropriate to pharmacy is required.
• Aseptic processing training or experience is preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assist in setup of compounding room, equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to CAPS policies and procedures.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance as directed.
• Support cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepare records and monitor QA testing results.
