Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a Tech - Pharmacy Tech (IV) to support pharmacists, nursing and medical staff in safe medication administration.

Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will assist in preparing and distributing medications, maintain drug inventory and records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This role offers a challenging environment within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy prior to start of employment.
• 1–2 years experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Demonstrates high level of organizational skills.
• Demonstrates independent functioning.
• High school graduate or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Pharmacy Technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department.
• Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records.
