Qualifications

  • Ability to conduct legal research, investigations, and interviews for case presentation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews information and conducts case investigations in preparing charges.
  • Manages prosecution of IV‑D and criminal non‑support cases before courts.
  • Prepares for hearings and trials, including motions, witness lists, and filings.
  • Represents the State in depositions and court proceedings, negotiating plea agreements as needed.
  • Directs and assigns work to support staff and maintains documentation.
  • Interviews IV‑D service applicants and negotiates payment agreements to reduce arrears.
  • Keeps current knowledge of IV‑D enforcement and coordinates with administrators and court personnel.
