Qualifications

• Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration or Texas Registered Pharmacist Intern is required.

• High School diploma or equivalent; two years of college preferred.
• Zero experience; one year of Pharmacy Technician experience applicable to the setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triages phone calls and assists with medication dispensing and labeling.
• Repackages and inventories medications to ensure safe, accurate distribution.
• Maintains patient safety and provides customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Uses hospital/pharmacy software and dispensing equipment as part of daily workflow.
• Documents and communicates clearly with patients, physicians and staff.
