Job description

Position: Per Diem, Nonexempt Pharmacy Technician

Assists in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; and billing. Duties are performed according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Location: Huntsville Memorial Hospital, 110 Memorial Hospital Drive, Huntsville, Texas 77340

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 8:00pm; Saturday and Sunday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Texas state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
• IV Certification required or must be acquired within the first 90 days of hire
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Proficiency with pharmacy software

Preferred Qualifications:

• PTCB certification
• Automation experience

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly pay ranges from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
