Job summary

Mymlc is seeking an LPN IV Certified for their Medical/Behavioral Annex in Saint Joseph, MO. This full-time position requires the ability to administer quality patient care and manage medications while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Applicants must hold a degree in practical nursing and be licensed to practice. Additional certifications in BLS and ACLS are required within specified timeframes. The position offers the chance to work on-site and contribute positively to patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of practical nursing, or military equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state licensure required.
• IV Certification upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily reassessments for assigned patients and documents findings.
• Updates and implements the plan of care.
• Administers medications and monitors patients’ responses.
