Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA CPHT/ExCPT) required.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration with State Board of Pharmacy (TN).
• Working knowledge of sterile/IV compounding.
• COV19 required.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV automation tasks in an aseptic, error-free manner per SOPs.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly IV automation equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs procedures.
• Identify/order medications to maintain optimal inventories.
• Monitor and order consumable supplies for equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance of IV automation equipment; report unresolved issues.
• Complete fingertip and media fill sampling.
• Maintain clear communication with Pharmacy Operations Manager and customer.
• Ensure customer-focused support and satisfaction; liaison with Omnicell and customer.
• Conduct training and ensure required documents and policies are followed.
• Manage expenses per corporate card and travel policies.
