Qualifications

• Completion of Pharmacy Technician Level A program certified by WA State.
• WA Pharmacy Technician License to be obtained upon hire.
• Three years of pharmacy experience with IV admixture/aseptic technique.
• Experience in seven areas of pharmacy technician practice listed in the ad.
• Experience with telephone prioritization and handling stressful/urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit-dose, IV and chemotherapeutic meds from the pharmacy to nursing units and ancillary departments.
• Ensure prompt, safe, and accurate dispensing to nursing units and other departments.
