Job description

PositionDetails:

  • As Department Chair at 1.0 FTE, you would be collaborating with interdisciplinary teams both inpatient and outpatient in addition to expanding the service line to ambulatory across region leading the Palliative team.
  • Will have clinical oversight of Palliative Care physicians, APPs and Nurses.
  • Will be an advocate of the program to executive leadership while also having the ability to partner with Palliative Care Department chairs across the system.
  • Monday - Friday, 8 AM- 4:30 PM
  • No call, no holidays.
  • Adult Inpatient/Outpatient Consult Service
  • Well-Established and comprehensive inpatientteam.
  • Approximately 25-30patients per week (adult-geriatric, stroke, oncology, multiple co-morbidities)
  • Provide virtual supportto our two critical access hospitals.
  • Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents
  • Participation in hospital and system wide incentives

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC Palliative Care
  • Palliative Care Fellowship required.
  • MD/DO Indiana license or eligible
