InLine is seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Construction Foreman to lead field crews installing ITS, traffic signals, underground conduit, fiber optics, and roadway lighting. With 30+ years of operation, InLine emphasizes safety, quality, training, and internal promotion.

Responsibilities include coordinating trenching, conduit placement, and equipment operation while ensuring schedule, quality, and compliance. Occasional overtime, travel, and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading crews in underground utility construction.
• Experience with ITS, traffic signals, or roadway lighting is a strong plus but not required.
• Ability to read and execute construction plans and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience operating excavators, trenchers, skid steers, augers, or similar equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it through provided training.

Responsabilités

• Lead and work alongside crews installing underground conduit for electrical and fiber-optic networks.
• Install pole structures and ITS devices, including WWDS, DMS, CCTV, and RVD systems.
• Support traffic-signal construction, including foundations, poles, cabinets, signal heads, and wiring.
• Install roadway and bridge lighting systems.
• Read and interpret construction plans, electrical diagrams, and specifications.
• Coordinate trenching, conduit placement, cable pulling, and pole installation.
• Maintain compliance with trench-safety requirements and MUTCD traffic-control standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors to keep work on schedule.
• Track daily production, materials, and crew performance while troubleshooting field challenges.
