Job summary

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services seeks a Senior IT Compliance Analyst to support the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The role involves completing and maintaining System Security Plans for 200+ applications and collaboration across state agencies.

This position offers a hybrid work option (two days on-site, three days remote) and is based in Lansing, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
• Two years of professional IT experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.
• Associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in listed IT fields and two years of related experience; or two years of IT Student Assistant experience.
• Educational level typically acquired through high school and four years of related IT experience, or substitute IT Student Assistant hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Senior IT Compliance Analyst within DTMB Agency Services for MDHHS.
• Complete and maintain System Security Plans for 200+ applications.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with IT program requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science or related fields

Two years of professional IT experience equivalent to P11

Associate's degree with 16 semester credits in IT fields and two years of related experience

High school diploma with four years of IT experience or four years as IT Student Assistant

Job description

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.

This ITPA12 position will serve as a Senior IT Compliance Analyst within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). This position will support the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) with completing and maintaining System Security Plans for their 200+ applications.

DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT.

ITPA 12 -- Position Description

SIGNING BONUS

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.

Position Location/Remote Office:

The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.

Education

Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12 Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications,networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project managementor mathematics.

Experience

Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12 Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.

Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12 Possession of an associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science,information assurance, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking,systems analysis, computer programming, IT project management, or mathematics and two years ofexperience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician; ortwo years (4,160 hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may besubstituted for the education requirement.

OR

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and four years of experience asan application programmer, computer operator, information technology technician, or four years (8,320hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.
