Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to work full-time or part-time on an itinerant basis across Bond, Fayette, and Montgomery counties. In a dynamic school environment, you will provide essential instructional support and advocacy for students with hearing impairments.

Qualifications

Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing.
Experience with deaf/hard of hearing students.
Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills.
Ability to travel between schools as required.
Passion for inclusive education and student success.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct instructional services to students with hearing loss.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to customize learning plans.
Provide consultation on accommodations, assistive technology, and classroom strategies.
Conduct assessments and track progress for IEPs.
Support professional development and resources related to deaf/hh education.
