Qualifications

• Kentucky certificate, license, or other legal credential required.
• Experience and alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable per the Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and deliver programs of instruction that support the premise of high expectations for all students.
• Supervises students, instructional, and/or clerical assistants.
• Demonstrates proficiency in planning developmentally appropriate, research-based instruction that addresses Kentucky's learning goals.
• Creates a learning climate that supports student learning outcomes.
• Implements developmentally appropriate teaching and learning activities that align with the curriculum.
• Assists in applying Board policies and school rules governing student life and conduct.
• Maintains accurate, complete records as required by law and district policy.
