Ithaca Hummus - PT Brand Ambassador - Houston, TX (up to 32 hours weekly)

Calling all food enthusiasts seeking exciting, part-time opportunities. We are looking for in-store demo representatives who are outgoing and capable of driving trial and brand awareness through in-store demonstrations for Ithaca Hummus.

Role Overview: As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact with customers, creating memorable experiences that promote Ithaca's message and help grow our community of flavor enthusiasts.

Compensation:

• DOE - $25-30 per hour + Mileage Reimbursement & Bonus Opportunities
• 12-32 demos per month, approximately 12-32 hours weekly
• Shifts typically on weekends from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-store demos at retailers like Whole Foods Market
• Create positive interactions with consumers
• Take accurate shelf photos, including signage and pricing
• Maintain demo setup and samples in good condition
• Manage on-shelf inventory during demos
• Merchandise products and seek off-shelf placement opportunities to enhance brand presence
• Meet key KPIs such as sales goals and consumer engagement metrics
• Prepare and submit detailed event recaps within 1-2 days, including consumer counts, sales data, and photos

Requirements:

• Passion for food and engaging with people
• Outgoing, personable, and friendly demeanor
• Experience as a brand ambassador or in event staffing, preferably in natural foods
• Independent with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel regionally and work weekends
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• iOS 13.0+ for running our Demo app (GoSpotCheck)
• Ability to lift 10-25 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to reach overhead, bend, and walk up/down stairs with equipment
