Our Community Bank in Carthage, Missouri is seeking an Item Processing Support to help ensure daily item processing is accurate, timely, and consistent. This back-office role supports core functions that keep customer transactions moving smoothly.
You will work onsite on a Monday-Friday schedule with a Saturday rotation, performing tasks such as printing letters, scanning deposits, and providing backup for keying. Training is provided and you will report to management on production quality.

The Item Processing Support role helps ensure daily item processing work is completed accurately, consistently, and on time. This position supports core back-office functions that keep customer transactions moving smoothly.
Key responsibilities include printing and handling daily letters/notices; scanning and indexing deposit documentation; providing backup for proof/teller keying and postage machine operation; assisting with routine departmental maintenance tasks; monitoring and promptly reporting unusual banking activity to management; completing available training; and performing other department-related duties as assigned.
Required qualifications/skills:
You’ll work onsite in Carthage, Missouri on a Monday-Friday schedule with a Saturday rotation. Your day is structured around production deadlines and careful documentation, with time set aside to review work for completeness and accuracy. You’ll coordinate with teammates when priorities shift, keep clear notes for handoffs, and follow established procedures to maintain consistent quality. As questions come up, you’ll elevate items appropriately and use training resources to strengthen your understanding of processes and systems.
