Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking a data governance professional to manage item master data across ERP systems. You will ensure accurate item attributes, coding, pricing, and product hierarchies while collaborating with Product Standards, Engineering and suppliers.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with 3 years of item management or related experience, or a GED with 5 years of related work. Strong data governance, auditing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or related field with 3 years' item management or master data experience.
• Alternative: GED (or high school) with 5 years of related progressive experience in item management or procurement operations.
• Strong data governance, process documentation and governance knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills to use business software.

Responsibilities

• Review and process item setup requests and changes in ERP per procedures.
• Maintain item attributes: descriptions, codes, pricing, sourcing, hierarchies.
• Coordinate with Product Standards, Engineering and Suppliers on new items.
• Audit item master data quality and rectify duplicates or gaps.
• Document data governance policies and procedures.
• Act as SME for item master data processes and system functionality.
• Support audits, compliance activities and reporting requirements.
