Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (ADI) seeks a skilled Trade Compliance Manager at our Valencia, CA site to oversee ITAR and EAR compliance, international shipments, and licensing processes. You will implement internal controls, perform audits, and train site staff to uphold regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in trade compliance, strong documentation expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of trade compliance experience with ITAR/EAR.
• Experience conducting internal audits of trade compliance practices.
• Ability to develop and deliver internal training on trade compliance topics.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and export/import documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trade compliance activities at the Valencia, CA manufacturing site, ensuring ITAR/EAR adherence.
• Maintain and enforce internal trade compliance processes and policies.
• Ensure proper documentation for international shipments (invoices, EEI, AWB, licenses, exemptions).
• Conduct regular internal audits and implement corrective actions.
• Provide site employee training on trade compliance requirements and policies.
• Collaborate with Regional/Senior Trade Compliance Manager to develop procedures and best practices.
• Review and approve export/import documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and maintain export licenses and ensure they are up to date.
• Work with logistics, shipping, legal, and other teams to ensure smooth international shipments.
• Monitor regulatory reporting requirements and recordkeeping; update site records accordingly.
• Stay current on changes in export/import regulations; lead leadership in implementing changes.
• Lead cross-functional compliance initiatives and drive corrective actions across sites.
• Serve as site Facility Compliance Officer and primary regulatory liaison.
