Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) in Saco, ME seeks a Reg Compliance Specialist II to guide regulatory matters and maintain relationships with agencies. You will assess internal controls and prepare testimony for regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to laws and standards.

The role requires an Associate's degree with 2–4 years’ experience (or equivalent), and knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and AECA.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree plus 2–4 years’ experience or equivalent combination.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of ITAR, EAR and AECA requirements.

Responsibilities

Reviews policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Tracks and interprets laws or regulations impacting the business and advises managers accordingly.
Conducts periodic tests and audits of organizational operations.
Conducts initial reviews of alleged compliance violations and escalates to leadership as needed.
Coordinate local training requirements to ensure site personnel understand their obligations under government authorizations and regulations.
Review and approve foreign national site visits and international travel requests.
