Job Description:

French Selection (FS) is seeking an Italian speaking Sales Engineer specializing in Power Plant Solutions. The role is remote-based in Italy, serving clients in power generation, refining, oil and gas, and chemical industries.

The successful candidate will act as a technical consultant and project manager, coordinating solutions and on-site services for power plants, refineries, and chemical plants. You will work closely with Sales Managers to manage and develop projects, oversee solution design, project execution, and technician deployment, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Consulting with clients in relevant industries
• Managing existing accounts and pursuing new projects in Italy and France
• Building client relationships and understanding technical needs
• Collaborating on strategies, proposals, and presentations
• Designing solutions with engineering and R&D teams
• Developing technical proposals, including scope, timelines, and budgets
• Supporting pricing and contract negotiations
• Managing project execution from start to finish
• Coordinating on-site technician deployments
• Serving as the primary contact for clients and technicians
• Providing technical support and optimization
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Maintaining industry knowledge and supporting market expansion

Candidate profile:

• Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or project management, preferably in power generation
• Knowledge of power systems, combined cycle gas turbines, heat recovery steam generation, refining, or chemical industries
• Experience managing projects and on-site troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead teams
• Willingness to travel within Europe, occasionally to the UK and USA

Salary: €65,000 to €80,000 per year + bonus
