Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Clifton-Secaucus is seeking an Italian-speaking caregiver to provide compassionate home care and companionship to clients in the Hudson County area. Schedule options include 8:30am–3:30pm or 9:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to serve communities such as Bloomfield, Clifton, Jersey City, and beyond.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Italian and English required.
• Active HHA or CNA certification preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Reliable transportation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Accompany clients to appointments or activities when appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and office staff.
• Deliver reliable, compassionate care while maintaining professionalism.
