Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the related field or a Bachelor's in a non-related field with one year of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes active learning and student success strategies in the classroom.
• Keeps up-to-date in teaching area/discipline including licenses, training or certificates as applicable.
• Teaches to pre-approved course objectives.
• Instructs students in the facts and skills pertaining to the assigned course(s).
• Submits midterm and final grade reports and attendance records by due dates.
• Creates and distributes a syllabus each semester according to Board policy.
• Communicates course progress to students verbally and electronically as appropriate.
• Maintains classroom and/or lab equipment and inventories.
