Job summary

Grand View Lodge in Minnesota is seeking a friendly part-time Bartender to deliver exceptional service across outlets and during events. You will prepare drinks, serve beer and wine, take guest orders, and maintain a clean, safe workspace throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and serves drinks, beer, and wine with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates prompt, friendly, and caring guest service, ensuring a positive interaction with guests both within the designated department and throughout the store.
  • Greets guests warmly and always maintains a pleasant demeanor.
  • Takes guest orders, follows check procedures, and collaborates with team members to ensure guest satisfaction and a positive work environment.
  • Safely handles food, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in work areas.
  • Checks and assesses the freshness and quality of food and drink ingredients.
  • Ensures an ample food supply, placing orders for necessary products and supplies.
  • Prices products as required and anticipates daily product needs for the department.
  • Manages product check-ins, storage, and invoice review as necessary.
  • Operates department registers, handling transactions and providing change when applicable.
  • Adheres strictly to personal hygiene and dress code guidelines set by the department and company.
  • May be responsible for dishwashing to maintain cleanliness in the area.
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed.
