Mercier Consultancy in Greece is seeking Italian-speaking Social Media Content Moderators to ensure safety and policy compliance for leading platforms, on-site in Athens. Ideal candidates are fluent in Italian with keen judgment and attention to detail.

The role offers on-site work in Athens, fully paid training, relocation support, health insurance, a competitive monthly salary, annual bonuses, and a double salary bonus (13th/14th month) to reward performance.

Qualifications

Native or fluent Italian language skills (written and spoken).
Interest in social media platforms and online community dynamics.
Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment under pressure.

Responsibilities

Review and moderate user-generated content in Italian to ensure policy compliance.
Identify and take action on harmful, misleading, abusive, or policy-violating content.
Escalate complex moderation cases to senior teams in a timely manner.
Maintain detailed records of moderation decisions and outcomes in internal CMS.
Monitor trends and flag relevant patterns within Italian-speaking communities.
Collaborate with Trust & Safety, QA, and Policy teams to uphold content standards.
Participate in training and calibration sessions to stay aligned with policies.
Provide feedback on policy gaps and moderation workflows.
