Job summary

Sinclair Community College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Information Technology faculty member beginning Fall 2026 to teach across cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing, and automation, with in-person instruction at Dayton, Centerville, and Mason campuses.

The candidate will engage in hands-on, applied instruction aligned with industry standards and certifications, contribute to student success in both traditional and online formats, and participate in service to the department and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT required; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years in education or IT infrastructure.
• Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills in a community college environment.
• Flexible teaching availability across multiple campuses (Day/Evening/Weekend).

Responsibilities

• Teach across IT areas with emphasis on cybersecurity, networking, cloud, and automation.
• Deliver hands-on instruction across Sinclair campuses Dayton, Centerville, and Mason.
• Participate in committees and mentor students.
• Support online and traditional learning environments.
• Satisfy a 15-credit-hour per semester load and minimum five office hours weekly.

Education

Bachelor's degree in IT
