Job summary

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort in Pinecrest, CA is seeking an IT Technician to provide technical support for core business systems and staff. The role reports to the IT Administrator and focuses on improving efficiency and guest and employee experiences while upholding company values.

You will support, troubleshoot, and maintain software, hardware, servers, and related equipment. Salary ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour with 32–40 hours weekly, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware, Microsoft networking systems, wireless networking, servers, relevant software, internet software, and e-mail.
• CCNA certification and VMware experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to read technical manuals and to assist and communicate effectively with non-technical employees.
• Ability to learn new skills and become familiar with new systems and equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the MVR qualifications as outlined in the Fleet Safety Program.
• Must be at least 19 years old.

• Respond to support requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose to resolve technology issues as needed.

Summary of Job Purpose

The IT Technician position provides technical support for key business operating systems and system users in a dynamic environment under the direction of the IT Administrator. The position’s responsibilities require excellent analyses, communication and problem solving with the goal of maximizing and improving both efficiencyand guest and employee experiences, while supporting company values. Work requires initiative and time management.The IT Technician is responsible for providing IT related assistance, support, trouble shooting and maintenance for Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort’s computer software, hardware, applications, servers, and other IT related equipment. The position will also provide IT-related support, training, and assistance to the Dodge Ridge Staff.This position is a key member of the Dodge Ridge Team.

Work Schedules

Weather conditions and business levels play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.

When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work between 32-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road surfaces.

Working Conditions

At any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.

Uniforms

A professional appearance at Dodge Ridge is required. Please wear your name tag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. However, you will be required to provide some items as part of your job, as listed below. The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Dodge Ridge logo while on shift.

Items You Must Provide

Sunglasses, gloves, sunscreen, appropriate winter footwear with vibram soles.

The IT Support Technician is a non-skiing or riding position.
