Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced IT Technical Lead to drive design, development, and modernization of its Equity Investment Group platforms. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and shape architecture for scalable, secure portfolio management and trading systems.

The role interfaces with portfolio managers, traders, analysts, and product teams, leveraging cloud-native practices, CI/CD, and observability to ensure high reliability and performance across global equity workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years related work experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong software architecture and enterprise app design background.
• Proven ability to lead Agile teams and mentor engineers.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, TypeScript, Angular/React.

Responsibilities
